The Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is a web-based system that allows state-licensed companies in the mortgage and financial services industry to apply for, amend, renew, and surrender licenses or registrations. It is also a repository of licensing and registration information for companies and individuals.
You can verify the license of any mortgage company or individual at nmlsconsumeraccess.org using their NMLS ID number.
